Job Summary

The Executive Creative Director manages both the creative direction of our existing clients and new business pitches, ensuring each project, no matter how big or small, produces world-class work. They have created and overseen the smartest, most influential, most awarded work in the business. The Executive Creative Director oversees multiple clients from ask through execution, demonstrating team leadership, a strong point of view, and motivational skills throughout. They are experts in identifying and nurturing both great ideas and great talent.

We expect our Executive Creative Directors to be the leaders amongst leaders, who can represent our culture and standards to all levels and disciplines within the department, company-wide and across the industry.

For this role specifically we are seeking candidates with depth in B2B client ecosystems as well as a point of view on modern brand activation and CRM programs that are being reinvented by combining brand creative with data and technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow our reputation as one of the world's most creative companies

  • Grasp the client business at the highest level, and determine how to drive growth; consistently have a unique point of view on the brief

  • Find creative opportunities on even the most challenging of clients

  • Inspire work beyond traditional advertising; develop and foster inventive ideas with a point of view on the world

  • Push for unique ideas in social, digital and ideas that use innovative technology

  • Solve problems by creating integrated systems

  • Celebrate effectiveness as well as creativity

  • Fight for smart ideas and find ways to make the impossible tangible

  • Build client relationships with a deep understanding of clients, their business needs, and our role in their success. Establish full client trust in their instincts and decisions

  • Actively pursue new business independently and as part of a greater team, and lead pitches with minimal Chief Creative Officer oversight

  • Manage the career paths of multiple creative individuals through the Group Creative Director level

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Creative Direction for both B2B and B2C clients

  • Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building ideas and executions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Has independently led multiple pieces of $5MM+ business simultaneously

  • Winner of various awards and accolades for accomplished work

  • Has been a juror in a distinguished award show

  • Experience managing career growth and development of creatives at the Group Creative Director level and below

  • Does not require Chief Creative Officer involvement in work development

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple pieces of business and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work internally and with clients and excellent presentation skills
