Job description

General Purpose:
The Creative Director leads the concepting, developing, and execution of modern, campaign-driven creative that advances Benelli USA's evolution into a digital-first marketing organization. This role blends hands-on design with creative leadership, building scalable systems that translate product innovation into compelling consumer-facing campaigns across web, digital, retail, and traditional channels.
As a key partner to the Director Of Marketing, this individual will help shape the future of brand expression through A+ content systems, digital funnels, and performance-oriented creative that drives engagement and conversion. The Creative Director is expected to contribute meaningfully to idea generation, lead execution with precision, and elevate the overall standard of creative output across all touchpoints.
You'll get to:
  • Concept and develop original, campaign-driven creative rooted in product innovation, designed to scale across channels and drive measurable results
  • Translate product features and positioning into cohesive campaign systems that extend across digital, retail, and traditional channels
  • Lead the development of digital-first creative, including product detail pages, landing pages, email, and conversion-focused assets
  • Build and refine scalable A+ content systems and modular storytelling frameworks across brands and platforms
  • Apply best practices in digital hierarchy, scannability, and user experience to improve engagement and conversion
  • Execute high-level design work while remaining actively hands-on in key initiatives and brand-defining projects
  • Art direct photo and video shoots, including concepting, shot list development, on-set direction, and post-production oversight
  • Lead and develop the Sr. Graphic Designer, providing clear direction, feedback, and accountability for output and growth
  • Establish and manage efficient creative workflows that improve speed, consistency, and overall quality of execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital, Product, and Channel teams to align creative with business objectives and timelines
  • Serve as a strategic creative partner to the Director of Marketing, contributing meaningfully to idea generation and execution direction
  • Direct and manage external agencies and creative vendors to ensure alignment, quality, and effective execution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the hunting, shooting, and outdoor market to ensure authentic and relevant creative output
Performance Measurements:
  • Development of campaign-driven creative that scales across channels as cohesive systems and delivers measurable performance outcomes
  • Improvement in digital engagement and conversion metrics through stronger creative execution and user-focused design
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality creative on time with minimal rework and improved workflow efficiency
  • Demonstrated ownership of creative direction and team performance, with clear accountability for output and results
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Sr. Graphic Designer
  • External Vendors & Agencies
Who you are:
You're a builder at your core-someone who brings ideas, shapes them, and pushes them forward. You think in campaigns, not assets, and you're driven by turning great products into compelling stories that move people to act. You have an appreciation for the outdoors, hunting, and the culture that surrounds it, with a clear understanding of what feels authentic versus what feels like marketing. You operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership, moving with urgency, and constantly looking for ways to improve what exists. You're motivated by growth-personally, creatively, and as a team-and by the opportunity to leave a real fingerprint on a brand with heritage, performance, and momentum.
You also have:
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and strong working expertise in modern design and web tools
  • Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and creative direction
  • An entrepreneurial mindset that seeks opportunity, drives improvement, and builds momentum
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders without sacrificing quality or speed
  • A bias toward ownership and accountability, with a commitment to seeing work through to completion
  • Confidence working with and directing external partners, holding deliverables to defined standards
  • Familiarity with firearms, outdoor products, and the regulations that govern them
  • Experience managing or contributing to multiple social media platforms and understanding their role within a broader marketing ecosystem
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field
  • 8-10+ years of experience in creative development, art direction, or design, with a strong focus on digital-first execution
  • Proven ability to translate products into campaign-driven creative systems that scale across channels and drive measurable results
