Job description

Summit Golf Brands designs and sources high-end golf apparel and sportswear, sold online and at leading country clubs and resorts around the world. Comprised of Fairway & Greene, Zero Restriction, B. Draddy, and EP New York, our brands can be found at over 3,000 accounts in more than 25 countries.

Please note, this position is freelance - 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs), possible temp to perm position

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in product design, fashion merchandising or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of industry knowledge and experience, preferably in Men's apparel.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with a small staff and wearing multiple hats.
  • Exceptional time management skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented, have a positive & flexible attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Standards:

  • Good working knowledge of the Adobe creative suite, specifically Illustrator.
  • Excellent color sense and ability to communicate BULK comments/approvals.
  • Communicate clearly in oral and written form on a constant basis.
  • Work independently, utilize good judgement and possess a strong sense of initiative.
  • Organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and assignments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create detailed B&W flat sketches to support the design illustrations.
  • Update all CAD's, line sheets and garment sketches, tech packs after Design meetings/fittings using Illustrator and Acrobat.
  • Create print & stripe artwork for mills w/ all supporting information
  • Seasonal – Create and send all color cards, by brand, each season, maintain color library.
  • Use GTI lightbox to review all BULK fabrics against brand standards.
  • Daily communication with all overseas vendors for bulk fabric and trim comments/approvals.
  • Continuously update/file salesman sample/bulk fabrics and trim libraries each season.
  • Maintain Design Room walls from initial concept through final boards for all three brands.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the brands.

Equipment/Software Skills:

  • Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat software
  • WebPLM Software Experience – Preferably Centric
  • MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
