Job description

CHD is looking for a temporary full-time, Talent Acquisition Partner for a 5 month opportunity with our HR and Recruitment Team! This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of the largest and most diverse behavioral health and social service agencies in a key recruiting role. CHD has over 2,100 employees in Massachusetts and Connecticut and this position will support our decentralized hiring processes by providing a coordinated approach to the recruitment of diverse candidates that meet the cultural and linguistic needs of our clients and participants. We're looking for a dedicated professional to help us connect the right candidates to our important mission.
This is a fully on-site position located in Springfield, MA for 5 months.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop hiring plans for all levels of staffing including medical, clinical, managerial, direct client/patient service and administrative staff
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and fit for the role and company culture
  • Engage in direct outreach to active and passive candidates
  • Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent
  • Assist with coordination of hiring events
  • Manage the onboarding of new hires
  • Become proficient in UKG applicant tracking system and support and train hiring manager in its effective use
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience and promote CHD as an employer of choice
  • Conduct weekly agency-wide new employee orientations session

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, social service, or business-related field or 3-5 years of experience in HR with a focus on recruitment and onboarding
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment strategies, networking, and direct sourcing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with multiple stakeholders including candidates and hiring managers
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
  • Experience in social services, behavioral health, and/or healthcare environments
  • Must be able to travel in and around western Massachusetts

Pay range:
$25 - $30 an hour depending on depth of experience.
