Job description

About the Role

Bob's Discount Furniture is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Digital Content Coordinator to join our Creative Operations team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that sits at the heart of our digital asset ecosystem - responsible for the day-to-day management of our Digital Asset Management platform, ensuring assets are properly ingested, tagged, organized, and quality-checked so that teams across the organization always have what they need, when they need it.

Reporting directly to the Digital Content Manager, you will play a critical role in keeping our content operations running smoothly - supporting creative workflows, maintaining metadata standards, and tracking asset progress across active projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build deep expertise in digital content operations within a fast-growing, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

DAM Operations & Asset Management

  • Asset Ingestion & Organization:
  • Manage the day-to-day upload, ingestion, and organization of digital assets into Cloudinary, ensuring all files adhere to established folder structures, naming conventions, and taxonomy standards.
  • Metadata Tagging & Enrichment:
  • Apply accurate and consistent metadata tags, keywords, and attributes to assets across the DAM, following governance guidelines set by the Digital Content Manager.
  • Asset Archiving & Lifecycle Management:
  • Monitor asset status and support timely archiving, versioning, and retirement of content in accordance with established rights, licensing, and brand standards.

Quality Assurance & Metadata Maintenance

  • Asset QA & Integrity Audits:
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ingested assets to verify file integrity, correct tagging, appropriate format specifications, and alignment with brand and technical standards.
  • Metadata Accuracy & Cleanup:
  • Identify and resolve metadata gaps, inconsistencies, or errors within the DAM - escalating systemic issues and contributing to ongoing taxonomy improvements.
  • Compliance Support:
  • Assist in maintaining content rights records, accessibility tags, and licensing documentation to support legal and brand compliance requirements.

Creative Workflow & Project Tracking

  • Workflow Support:
  • Assist the Digital Content Manager in monitoring and maintaining active creative project workflows, ensuring asset progress is tracked and visible across teams.
  • WIP Tracking (LetsFlo):
  • Use LetsFlo to log work-in-progress updates, track asset production status, and flag bottlenecks or delays to the Digital Content Manager for timely resolution.
  • Project Management Tool Coordination:
  • Support task tracking and cross-functional coordination using platforms such as Asana, Trello, or similar tools, keeping project boards accurate and up to date.
  • Cross-Team Communication:
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination between the Creative Operations team and Campaign, Web, and Photography teams for asset-related requests and delivery timelines.

Documentation & Process Support

  • SOP Adherence & Feedback:
  • Follow established standard operating procedures for all DAM and content workflow tasks, and provide practical feedback to support ongoing SOP refinement.
  • Reporting & Tracking:
  • Assist in maintaining asset logs, usage reports, and operational trackers that provide visibility into content volume, status, and platform performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital asset management, creative operations, content coordination, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with DAM platforms - Cloudinary experience is a plus, though candidates with experience on comparable platforms (Bynder, Widen, Brandfolder) are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com for task tracking and team coordination.
  • Exposure to or working knowledge of LetsFlo or similar WIP/production tracking tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to file naming, metadata tagging, and content organization.
  • Solid understanding of digital file formats, asset specifications, and basic image or video file management.
  • Comfortable working within defined systems and processes, with the initiative to flag issues and suggest improvements proactively.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite - particularly Photoshop or Bridge - is beneficial for reviewing and managing creative assets.
  • Background or coursework in digital library sciences, information management, marketing, or a related discipline is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Retail or e-commerce creative team experience is a welcome differentiator.

Culture & Growth

At Bob's Discount Furniture, we believe that great content operations are the foundation of great marketing. We move fast, keep things simple, and hold ourselves to a high standard of quality and collaboration. This role offers a meaningful runway for growth - with direct mentorship from the Digital Content Manager and exposure to the full breadth of our creative and marketing technology stack.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop deep, practical expertise in digital asset management and creative operations within a dynamic, growing brand.
  • Work alongside experienced creative and technical professionals in a no-ego, team-first culture.
  • Take on increasing responsibility as you demonstrate ownership, precision, and initiative.
  • Build a strong foundation for a long-term career in content operations, marketing technology, or creative project management.

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:

$29.00 - $35.00
