Hiring: Line Cook AND Pastry Assistant (Two Positions Available)

La Licor Panamericana & Panamericana Café are 100% Latino-owned concepts located in the heart of Logan Square. Our mission is to take our guests on a culinary journey across the Pan-American route, celebrating the rich culture and diverse flavors of Latin America. We are deeply passionate about what we do, delivering high-quality products and respecting our roots, all within a supportive, positive, and collaborative work environment.
We are currently expanding our team and looking to fill two independent positions:
POSITION 1: Line Cook
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Previous experience in prep and line cooking.
Execute daily production and mise en place for the kitchen line.
Assist with line duties and station setup as needed during service.
POSITION 2: Pastry Assistant (Production)
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Previous experience in pastry production.
Proficiency in fundamental pastry tasks: using pastry bags (creams, fillings, piping), handling, proofing, and baking pre-made/frozen laminated doughs, and precise assembly/filling.
Bake and finish laminated doughs, prepare creams, pipe fillings, and plate desserts consistently.
What we look for in both profiles:
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes precisely, maintaining consistency in portioning and presentation.
Kitchen Awareness: Understanding of food safety regulations, keeping the workstation clean and organized at all times.
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus, but passion and teamwork are what matter most.
