Job Title: Specialist, Industrial Security (CPSO)

Job Description:

The Industrial Security (CPSO) is responsible for managing and directing security related issues for the assigned SCIF.  This position's responsibilities include managing the SCIF personnel security portfolio. The duties include Request For Access(RFA) submissions, maintain SF86 documents, maintain Secure facility documentation, managing foreign travel, visitor control, and other personnel security duties.  The CPSO implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on Intelligence Community Directives, 32 CFR Part 117 and other governing directives, as applicable.
Essential Functions:

  • Maintain and update multiple personnel security databases, including DISS, SIMS, and various IC customer-specific systems
  • Partner with Contractor Special Security Officers (CSSO) to provide excellent customer service to various programs and customers
  • Generate, receive, and track classified visit requests
  • Support for the security awareness and education programs
  • Act as Title 50 Foreign Travel point of contact for the organization
  • Conduct RFA Nominations, Polygraph Requests, and SF86 reviews and submissions
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with all PERSEC requirements
  • Participate in Government Security Compliance Inspections and corrective action activities

Qualifications:

  • Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility; Eligibility for CI Polygraph

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with DISS/NBIS/eAPP
  • FSO Certification (or attain within 6 months of employment)
  • PERSEC Experience
  • Experience with Lenel/Ccure Badging Databases

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $76,500 - $141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
