Job description

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology who wants to work in a collaborative environment? As an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Specialist you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. If so, consider an opportunity with Deloitte under our Project Delivery Talent Model. Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.

Recruiting for this role ends on 5/1/2026

Role Summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Specialist to support a client engagement delivering HR integration solutions across SAP SuccessFactors and downstream/upstream enterprise applications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP HCM, payroll vendors, identity systems). You will design, build, test, and deploy integrations, partner with functional and technical teams, and help ensure secure, reliable data flows across the HR landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver integrations using SAP Integration Suite / CPI, including end-to-end lifecycle: design, build, unit test, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Develop and enhance integration flows (iFlows) for SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Compensation, Performance).
  • Configure and support SuccessFactors integration components such as Integration Center, OData/SOAP APIs, Compound Employee API, and file-based integrations (SFTP).
  • Collaborate with client HR, IT, security, and vendor teams to gather requirements, define interface specifications, and manage integration dependencies.
  • Build error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation approaches; troubleshoot issues using CPI monitoring, logs, and payload analysis.
  • Ensure integrations meet security and compliance requirements (authentication, certificates, encryption, key management, PII handling).
  • Produce delivery artifacts: integration designs, mappings, test plans/scripts, deployment runbooks, and operational documentation.
  • Support cutover activities and post-go-live stabilization; enable client operations with knowledge transfer.
  • Role will be responsible for both ongoing system support for our clients as well as new build/project work.

The Team

The Human Capital offering sits at the intersection of people and technology. The practice drives innovation across Human Capital's product and asset strategy, utilizes data and insights to drive our client's organizational and technology performance, and drives ongoing and repeatable revenue.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite implementations.
  • 6+ years integrating SAP SuccessFactors with external systems (APIs and/or flat files).
  • Ability to be on-call for potential after-hours work to support production integration issues
  • Experience with iFlows, adapters (HTTPS, SFTP, OData, SOAP), message mapping, content modifier, groovy/script steps
  • Experience with API-led integrations and data transformations
  • Certificates, OAuth/basic authentication, and secure connectivity patterns
  • Experience with integration testing and deployment across environments (DEV/QA/PROD) with clear change control.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HCM, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), or 3rd-party payroll/time systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) connectivity (Cloud Connector, destinations).
  • Experience with HR data concepts (effective dating, worker lifecycle events, organizational structures).
  • Prior consulting experience in complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
