Job Title - Blood Bank Laboratory Specialist/Supervisor Location - Boston, MA Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift. Start time anywhere from 8pm to 1am. Role Type - Direct Hire Comp: $90-120k base, $15k sign on, benefits Must Have Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as a blood bank Technologist or Technician Previous Senior or Lead Technologist experience preferred Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; Bachelor’s preferred ASCP or AMT certification preferred Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state laboratory regulations Responsibilities and Job Details: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Blood Bank department Ensure laboratory testing is performed accurately and results are reported in a timely manner Oversee department staffing, workflow, and daily operational efficiency Directly supervise, train, mentor, and support laboratory personnel Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and applicable state laboratory regulations Perform bench work as needed to support department operations Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives Help maintain high standards for quality, safety, and regulatory readiness Participate in rotating weekend coverage Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
