CreditSightsย Sales Specialist Team is currentlyย seekingย aย Associate Director, Sales Specialist based out of our New York office.ย 

The prospective candidate will have the opportunity to become an integral part ofย CreditSights' growing Buyside team in New York, which includes 7 skilled sales specialists, all working collaboratively to drive success and foster client relationships through cross-sell, up-sell, and new logo sales.ย 

CreditSightsย Sales Specialist teamย is responsible forย fueling the growth of theย CreditSightsย business through new client acquisition and cross-selling/up-sellingย into existing relationships. The Sales Specialistย is responsible forย prospecting,ย leadย qualification, building relationships with prospective clients, managing a salesย pipeline,ย and converting prospects to clients.ย 

We'llย Count on You To:ย 

Execute the end-to-end sales cycle for prospective clients, from prospecting and lead generation to advancing sales through to successful conversionย 

Prospect and prioritize potential clients within market fit parameters, develop relationships to understand their business challenges and engage on whereย CreditSightsย can add value in a differentiated wayย 

Build and manage a new business pipeline that appropriately balances new opportunity creation and successful conversionsย 

Develop and execute a quarterly territory plan that is centered around priorities and areas of focus to achieve quotaย 

ย Demonstrateย a strong grasp ofย CreditSights'sย products, valueย propositionย and competitive advantage, andย leverageย that knowledge in all client communicationsย 

Apply sales and negotiation skills to close profitable, healthy new business dealsย 

ย Establishย active communication and engagement with prospects to create and nurtureย relationshipsย 

Consistently apply an insight-led approach to all internal- and client-facing activitiesย 

Develop a deep knowledge of each client's industry, organizational structure, asset class in which theyย operate, and key stakeholders in those asset classesย 

Collaborate with multiple departments across the organization, toย identifyย key drivers for engaging new prospects and creating urgencyย 

Transition of new accounts toย Accountย Management team including onboarding handoff, introduction to key client stakeholders, etc.ย 

Document all client events and activities in internal systems, including Salesforce.comย 

What You Need to Have:ย 

Bachelor's degreeย 

ย 4-5ย years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a similar industryย 

Highly motivated and results-driven with consistent achievement of quota(s) across multiple periods of timeย 

Experience applying industry and product knowledge in written and verbal client communicationsย 

Successful past adoption and effective use of internal workflows,ย processesย and technologies toย accomplishย workย objectives; bias to collaborate with team membersย 

Self-starter, who canย establishย and organize daily sales activities working fully independentlyย 

ย Strong communication, active listening, interpersonal and presentation skillsย 

Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learningย 

Easily adaptable to changing, ambiguous and fast-paced environmentsย 

Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workย 

Ability to articulate product value proposition and competitive advantageย 

Experience with Salesforce.com as well as Microsoft Officeย

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $140,000 per year. Actual salaries will beย determinedย on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensationย package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.ย
