Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a motivated Commercial Litigation Assistant on behalf of a well-regarded South Florida law firm. This position is perfect for an organized and detail-focused individual looking to build or advance a career in commercial litigation. Working alongside experienced attorneys and senior paralegals, the Litigation Assistant will provide critical administrative and substantive support throughout all stages of litigation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and litigation support to 4 attorneys and paralegals on commercial cases

• Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings

• File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing through CM/ECF and Florida state portals

• Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, exhibits, and correspondence

• Manage attorneys' calendars, schedule depositions, court appearances, and meetings

• Coordinate with court reporters, process servers, vendors, and clients

• Monitor and track case deadlines, discovery schedules, and filing requirements

• Assist with preparation of trial materials, exhibit binders, and hearing notebooks

• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and communications on behalf of the legal team

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 + years of experience in a litigation or legal support role

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; paralegal certificate a plus

• Familiarity with Florida and/or federal court procedures and e-filing systems

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
