Job description

Cleared Technical Trainer

Bestgate Engineering is seeking a cleared Technical Trainer to support the development and delivery of technical training programs for mission focused environments within the Intelligence Community. This role is ideal for a training professional with experience developing and maintaining technical curriculum, supporting virtual and instructor led training, and working within SIGINT focused environments.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Education, Liberal Arts, or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, four additional years of experience may be substituted. A Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
  • Ten + years of experience planning and managing training development for large programs.
  • Experience performing Instructional Design and developing formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and technical training materials.
  • Experience developing online web based training and distance learning presentations.
  • Experience designing, developing, and revising complex interactive, virtual learning, and/or instructor led courses of a technical nature.
  • Experience with curriculum development and maintenance.
  • Experience administering virtual training environments.
  • Five + years of training experience with digital signals processing.
  • Three + years of SIGINT related experience within the Intelligence Community.
  • Current certification through National Cryptologic University (NCU).
  • Experience with SIGINT and C++.
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph or Cleared Contingent (CCA) required.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting highly technical government or military training programs.
  • Experience developing training plans and technical courseware for complex systems.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and distributed training environments.
  • Ability to tailor instructional materials to multiple learning styles and technical skill levels.
  • Experience supporting mission critical Intelligence Community operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel.

Salary Range:
$150,000 - $200,000
