StraCon is seeking a Full-Time Program/Project/Management Analyst, Journeyman to support a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) program office at Patuxent River, MD. The Journeyman Analyst will assist government leadership by performing analytical, technical, and administrative duties that contribute to effective program execution.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Apply analytic techniques to support evaluation of program and project objectives.
  • Analyze program requirements, budgets, schedules, and status to support informed decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing management, technical, and business case analyses.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Track program and project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Support documentation control, configuration/change management, and data management using established government processes.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, including preparing agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items.
  • Support drafting of program documentation, briefings, and reports for leadership review.
  • Coordinate with IPTs, stakeholders, and team members to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.

Experience Requirements:
  • 3 to 8 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Working knowledge of CSPT (Common Spend Plan Tool).
  • Working knowledge and experience with Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
  • Working knowledge and experience with Procurement Initiation Document (PID) writing.
  • Working knowledge and experience with the development of Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Power Automate and SharePoint is a plus.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).

Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $74,000.00 - $112,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
