Job description

Essential Functions:
  • Load linen bags in delivery sequence on delivery vans
  • Deliver linen bags to properties along a predetermined route.
  • Pick-up linen bags from properties along a predetermined route.
  • May be required to load and unload bags of linens or supplies weighing as much as 70lbs.
  • Drivers are required to provide service to the public. They must maintain a neat and professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions.
  • Able to work weekends and most holidays
  • May be required to work in processing and distribution facility. Sorting clean and dirty linens, folding linens with the help of an automatic folder, and creating linen packages for delivery.
  • Provide cross-departmental assistance when needed, working with various departments, owner special projects and requests, and company affiliated projects and requests and initiatives
  • Provide exemplary customer service to guests, owners, coworkers, and vendors while providing expedient resolution of assigned tasks
  • Represent Oak Island Accommodations with extreme professionalism, looking out for the company's best interest while providing efficient, quality work
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Has a valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance
  • Safe driving record and at least 2 years of unsupervised driving experience in a passenger car or larger U.S.
  • Is able to work weekends and holidays
  • Is able to work in inclement weather conditions
