About the Role:
As a CBRE | T&T Procurement Consultant, you will design, evaluate, manage and provide deliverables based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of service providers and contractors.
This position is a member of a Client dedicated Procurement team. The team is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, contracting, and procurement of goods, services, or materials for construction project management and contracting activities.
This role is a full-time position and will require on-site presence at the client's campus three days a week in Indianapolis.
What You'll Do:
- Design, generate, review, and produce documentations to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements and priorities.
- Manage and oversee service provider prequalification, onboarding, and compliance using enterprise systems (e.g., D365, Coupa and Ariba).
- Assess service provider capabilities, safety performance (e.g., TRIR, DART and EMR), capacity, and market conditions.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships while holding them accountable to performance expectations, quality, and project deliverables.
- Issuance and coordination of RFP activities in collaboration with Project Managers or Lead RFx (RFP/RFQ) processes for construction, design, engineering, and specialty services across multiple geographic regions.
- Align procurement methodology with project delivery models (e.g., GMP, T&M, preconstruction, reimbursable, programmatic rates).
- Develop sourcing strategies and plans, including competitive bids, sole/single-source justifications, and phased contracting approaches.
- Collect, rationalized, and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and usefulness. Leverage data from multiple sources to create a complete overview that facilitates the deliveries of improvements and recommendation(s).
- Design and manage bid evaluation frameworks, scoring criteria, and comparative analyses.
- Evaluate and validate proposals across schedule, risk, safety, scope completeness, commercial structures, pricing models, and change management provisions.
- Prepare executive-ready summaries and award recommendations with clear, defensible rationale.
- Facilitate evaluator alignment and stakeholder decision-making.
- Draft and review Statements of Work (SOWs) or Work Orders (WO), ensuring alignment with corporate contracting standards (e.g., PO-based engagements, AIA/CCDC frameworks). Coordinate with Legal and contracting teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Manage communication across internal teams and external service providers.
- Provide timely updates, follow-ups, and reporting to meet project timelines.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Drive continuous improvement in procurement workflows, templates, and documentation.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant business fields
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, project management, or contract management in construction related fields (preferred). In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Knowledge of standard procurement and project management principles with practical experience in applying them.
- Math skills and ability to produce financial-related calculations.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Form, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with a continuous inquisitive and learning mindset.
- Strong understanding of construction contracting models and commercial structures
