Marion County Teacher Leadership Framework Mentor 

Qualifications:                         

  • Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience required
  • Available on a flex schedule for services during the day and some evenings
  • Training for Master Mentor Teacher after 2006
  • Training for Trainer of Trainers for Master Mentor Teachers
  • Knowledge of WV Standards of Effective Schools
  • Knowledge of WV Teacher Leader Framework 

Job responsibilities: 

  • County contact for managing the Marion County Support for Improving Professional practice program
  • Organize support meetings for new professional personnel
  • Match new professional personnel with mentors
  • Collect documentation for professional personnel files
  • Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or superintendent
  • Collaborates with and reports to Administrative Assistant
