Job description

Description

Expeditors at Westmoor Country Club will ensure the efficient flow of orders from the back-of-house kitchen team to the front-of-house service team for a la carte dining, special events, and private functions. Experience is preferred and experience in a private club or resort setting is a plus; however, in-house training is available.


Part-time (20-25 hours per week on average) positions are available with an opportunity for overtime and/or extra shifts during peak seasons.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver orders from the kitchen to the appropriate dining area in a timely manner
  • Assist the lead expeditor in the final preparation of dishes
  • Set-up and maintain buffets
  • Professionally and effectively communicate with members and fellow employees
  • Maintain high standards of quality and sanitation
  • Assist in daily set-up and take-down of dining facilities to include moving furniture
  • Maintain cleanliness of expeditor areas of the kitchen
  • Assist with stocking work stations, re-setting vacated tables, private event set-up, organize storage areas, and any other miscellaneous duties required to maintain the dining areas

Requirements

  • Flexible work schedule; able to work varying shifts to include holidays, weekends, and evenings

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
