COUNTRY CLUB DAYTIME RECEPTIONIST

STATUS: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE: Monday 9:00am - 1:00pm Tuesday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm

The Manufacturers' Golf & Country Club Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, and staff. This role is essential to creating a welcoming member experience while ensuring daily club operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping people, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership of their work. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering an exceptional member experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet members, guests, and visitors in a warm and professional manner. Create a positive first impression that reflects on the Club's commitment to exceptional member and guest service.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Monitor and respond to emails and voicemail messages
  • Provide general information regarding club activities, dining, events, and amenities
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for members and guests
  • Ensure the front desk, lobby, and common areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Review daily schedules, reservations, tee times, dining activity, and special events
  • Maintain awareness of club activities and communicate relevant information to members and staff
  • Print and distribute daily operational reports, reservations, schedules, and other materials as needed
  • Support special events by helping maintain an organized and guest-focused environment
  • Assist management and department leaders with administrative projects and requests

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous reception, customer service, hospitality or member services experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, email, and basic office technology
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
