Job description

ASRC Federal Technical Solutions, LLC is looking for a Top Secret/SCI cleared Operations Planner with Counter Threat Finance and Counter-Transnational Criminal Organizations operational planning experience to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to the NORTHCOM Counterdrug Program Manager and designated staff. If you have experience with operations planning in Counter-Transnational Criminal Organizations, Counter Threat Finance, and DoD Joint Strategic Planning this opportunity might be for you.

The selected candidate's responsibilities will include the following:

  • Plan, coordinate, and synchronize future plans into current operations for joint headquarters providing Counterdrug/Counter Transnational Organized Crime and Counter Threat Finance support to various mission partners throughout the USNORTHCOM AOR; consolidate applicable input from across all NORTHCOM Directorates and C/R/S to provide the NORTHCOM J5 Director, Staff and subordinates detailed synchronized plans.

  • Support NORTHCOM Counter-TCO planning efforts in accordance with the operations on planning process, based on sound understanding of how to integrate all primary staff members into operations planning cycle for creation of executable orders both orally and in written form.
  • Integrate NORTHCOM Counterdrug Directorate staff estimates and recommendations for multiple working groups to inform NORTHCOM CD PM decisions.
  • Provide operational planning support to authorized mission partners.
  • Process and submit mission partner support requests.
  • Create and maintain positive relationship and rapport with mission partners.
  • Synchronize planning execution for CD/CTOC support activities and the integration of mission partners.
  • Perform other tasks as they arise that the Planner is qualified to perform and are reasonably related to the general framework of the tasks outlined in this PWS.
  • Execute orders, warning orders, operations orders, and fragmentary orders for publication.
  • Create and maintain staff estimates for duration of planning cycle.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • This is an onsite Intel Analyst position located in CO Springs, CO (USNORTHCOM)
  • Must have an active DoD Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Candidates without an active Top-Secret clearance will not be considered. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or additional years of relevant professional experience. 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Counter-Transnational Criminal Organizations operational planning and orders writing.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with DoD Joint Strategic Planning Process.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with Counter Threat Finance.
