Job description

If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to expand your level of responsibility using your US Military or US Department of Defense mission operations experience, join us! As a Mission Operations Liaison III, you will lead the coordination and execution of complex deployment logistics. Your role will involve securing all necessary authorizations and clearances and providing strategic logistical guidance for the optimal utilization of US Government assets. You will work closely with high-level stakeholders and ensure that all mission operations comply with established protocols and regulations.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to secure authorizations and clearances for complex mission deployments.

  • Coordinate with senior Host nation representatives and US Military Groups.

  • Provide strategic logistical support and guidance for asset utilization.

  • Ensure compliance with all deployment requirements and regulations.

  • Develop and implement advanced logistics strategies and processes.

  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of mission operations.

  • Mentor and train junior team members.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study.

  • 4+ years of experience in a related field.

  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.

  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.

  • In-depth understanding of military and government operations.

  • Operational experience with U.S. Embassy agencies and U.S. Military Groups in the field of Counterdrug (CD), Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), or Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) surveillance, command and control, and communications operations, long-range surveillance sensors, and security assistance.

  • US Citizenship.

  • Possess strong customer relationship skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of our organization, US and Other Government Agencies and Allied and Partner Nations.

  • Ability to coach/mentor/teach tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) across the entire customer domain.

  • Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.

  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.

  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.

  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.

  • Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.

  • Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Extensive experience with Counterdrug, Crisis Negotiation Team, and Crisis Intervention Team systems.

  • Proficiency in multiple languages relevant to Host nations.

  • Advanced certifications in logistics or military operations.

  • Operational CD/CNT/CIT surveillance, command and control, and communications experience in Latin America and the Caribbean.

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Proficiency with computer systems and software.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
