Job description

OFFICE MANAGER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a professional and motivated Office Manager for Birmingham Branch. We are searching for candidates with excellent customer service and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to flourish in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Pay Range
$45K-50 annually
Schedules and Hours
Our workdays can sometimes be long and unpredictable. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, but the ideal candidate should be able to work 40+ hours (including overtime when needed). Must be able to be on call some weekends and work after 5 pm as needed.
Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities
• Recruiting, applicant screening, interviewing, placing, and counseling employees
• Adequately judging the quality of an applicant for correct placement
• Process Payroll
• Counseling employees
• Listening to and applying constructive criticism
Office Manager Skills and Qualifications
• Three (3) years of office management experience
• Must have excellent customer service skills, good clerical skills (type 50 - 55 wpm)
• Comfortable with computers. Be an advanced user of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Previous staffing or recruiting experience a plus
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
