Senior Customer Business Manager- COSTCO (CBM)

The Opportunity 

This opportunity oversees the Club customer portfolio and drives the creation and execution of Club sales through Omni-channel customer focus, effective joint business planning and collaboration to ensure we are the strategic partner of choice for the category. Develops new business and provide excellent customer service. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers and connecting with sales leaders to ensure achievement of the sales plan while managing the margins that impact EBITA.

What You'll Do

• Leads business development for Costco 
• Drive global synergies across North American Costco regions (US, Mexico, Canada) and support expansion 
• Omni channel thought leadership - Driving business both in-store and online. Intensive focus to build relationship with e-commerce buyer , internal COE of e-commerce to expand/optimize the .com platform
• Own relationship with Costco International Buying Team (at HQ) while serving as internal liaison with Costco Sales Teams in other key markets (Europe, Asia, Oceania)
• Own pricing conversations at global level with Costco and internal teams
• Enable sell-in of new items and initiatives across global markets, partnering with teams in those markets, ensuring sharing of best in-market and selling practices
• Lead internal governance process for Costco International team, including monthly/quarterly touch bases that measure performance and align strategy across all markets
• Able to identify category selling opportunities and deliver category based selling stories to Costco
• Strong driver of customer agenda
• Build strong customer relationships that result in partnership opportunities, which drive sales, market share and profit. Deliver account objectives with in trade spending parameters.    
• Equally build strong internal cross-functional relationship that will assist in delivering business objectives        
• Drive customer agenda internally, ensuring key stakeholders are executing aligned priorities.

• Responsible for all aspects of customer development including opportunity identification, relationship management, customer service interface
• Own Customer Joint Business Planning, distribution plans and new item recommendations inclusive of line review process.
• Develop and own account specific promotional plans to ensure achievement of account growth goals and develop ongoing customer plans that are in alignment with corporate and customer goals.           
• Develops and delivers strategic selling, assortment, promotion, pricing plans
• Leverages forecasting and planning tools, analytics, insights and KPI reports
• Sales and trade forecasting and budget management responsibilities

The Skills You Will Bring To The Team

• 5 years minimum experience in a relevant CPG Sales and Customer Experience role.

• This position will have to make decisions as it pertains to customer "asks" of promotional support.  This role will have to understand the financial impact these asks have as well as negotiate for what else is needed to make this a win/win for both parties
• This position will act as the customer expert for our key brand partners.  Internally we are asked for the customer perspective on key initiatives new item launches or customer trends.  This position will need to provide that perspective and influence internal stakeholders to drive action.
• This position will need to have a growth mindset and be a strong relationship builder.  It should never be a "No" but how to we find a mutually beneficial solution and bring that solution to the organization is such a way that show the business benefit.
• This position will require an ownership mindset with the ability to work with internal stakeholders to ensures success with customer.  This role will need to be able to adequately manage projects to execution in conjunction with CP&S partners.

• This position requires dealing with ambiguity, often only having "half of the picture."  The role will require putting together plans while consulting internal/external stakeholders to connect the dots and find "win win" areas for both GPN and the customer

The opportunity will be based remotely with approximately 25% travel requirements.

Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles; the salary range for this role is $145,000- 175,000 plus car allowance and annual bonus. This range may not be applicable to other locations, and targeted salary is midpoint of range.
