    SUMMARY OF ROLE

    The Community Manager is the pulse of culture and productivity at a given location. This includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all implemented procedures, ensuring progressive completion of work orders, and creating a positive work environment for employees and community residents alike. This person works autonomously but also acts as the liaison between upper management and community employees, meeting regularly with upper management to keep current with organizational changes, issues, and improvements. The title essentially ensures all operations flow smoothly and work in accordance with company goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 2 to 4 years MultiUnit/ Community Management experience
  • Outstanding staff management and customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office required (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Rent Manager a Plus!
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and foster a teamoriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications and people skills
  • Capable of training and developing others
  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical functions
  • Knowledge of expense budgeting and cost control
  • Capable of identifying, organizing, and planning capital improvement projects
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Track and implement efforts to achieve monthly and annual occupancy/collections goals
  • Work with corporate management to evaluate and improve processes and policies
  • Manage and report on the community’s revenue and cash flow
  • Implement Company policies and model appropriate behavior for subordinates
  • Interview potential community staff and make hiring and promotion decisions
  • Address and manage employee complaints or performance issues as needed
  • Inspect buildings, systems, and grounds to assess for potential safety hazards
  • Project the community’s operating budget and track and manage expenditures
  • Address resident issues and complaints
