About the role:

As a PMO Cost Manager you will lead cost management and cost accounting activities for projects within the assigned area. You will provide managerial and technical leadership, oversees cost control systems, and ensures accurate cost reporting to support operational and business decisionmaking. The Cost Manager manages professional staff, controls financial resources, and implements cost management strategies aligned with organizational goals.

You will report to the APX Director and be located at our Rock Hill location and can work in a hybrid capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cost management and cost accounting activities for programs within the assigned department or area.
  • Prepare and direct the implementation of cost accounting methods, systems, and control processes.
  • Oversee cost control systems to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of costs.
  • Manage cost audits; address findings and corrective actions.
  • Prepare cost accounting and financial reports for presentation to senior and executive management.
  • Provide leadership to professional employees, supervisors, and technical or support staff as applicable.
  • Provide technical guidance and expert direction to employees to improve the effectiveness and quality of cost deliverables.
  • Develop, implement, and refine processes to support functional cost management strategies.
  • Apply indepth expertise in cost management and related disciplines to resolve operational, technical, customer, or employee issues.
  • Interpret business conditions and adapt work priorities and plans within own area accordingly.
  • Manage the budget for the assigned area; allocate financial and staffing resources to meet operational goals.
  • Develop operational plans and coordinate resources to support short and midterm goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and management and cost experience.
  • 7 years of relevant management or supervisory experience, including financial accountability, in addition to prior experience in cost analysis, accounting, or Project Controls.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, to be 116,800 to 146,000 per year.
