What is a Cosmetic Distributor?

A cosmetic distributor is a professional or company that purchases beauty and personal care products from manufacturers and supplies them to retailers, salons, spas, or directly to consumers. They act as a crucial link in the supply chain, ensuring that products like makeup, skincare, and hair care items reach the market efficiently. Distributors often handle warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and sometimes marketing support. Their knowledge of industry trends and regulations is essential for successful product placement and sales growth.
