Job description

This position is part of TCS IoT and Digital Engineering horizontal business unit to drive the growth of engineering services for Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) clients in North America. The ideal candidate will have over 13+ years of industry experience shaping proposals, building strong client relationships, and drive solution-based sales while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create business opportunities and enhance value for CPG clients.
Key responsibilities:
• Bring the companys engineering services value to major CPG customers, including Home & Personal Care, Food & Beverages, Alcohol & Tobacco, Beauty & Cosmetics, Distribution business segments in North America.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to proactively shape proposals and large deals based on customer requirements.
• Present, promote, and sell IoT and Engineering services to existing and prospective customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with prospects and client team members.
• Build strong client relationships by understanding client needs and jointly identifying their biggest engineering and manufacturing challenges and preferences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote engineering, manufacturing and related IOT services and solutions, driving new business opportunities.
• Carry out market analysis and lead business planning and strategic sales activities. Track sales and report status updates.
• Closely monitor client engagement levels, support business reviews, and implement measures to gain traction with clients.
• Actively drive awareness of IoT & Engineering solutions with targeted clients - tradeshows, research-led thought leadership, client roadshows and workshops, social media connect, etc.
Minimum Qualifications :
• Around 13+ years of experience working with CPG customers for professional services and engineering, manufacturing deployments.
• Familiarity with IT/OT systems used by the industry and familiarity to Purdue model for all levels within a Manufacturing facility
• Industry experience in R&D, Engineering and design services including PLM, Digital Thread solutions and services
• Strong background in problem-solving and solution design, particularly in Digital Engineering, IoT, Cloud, and Analytics, IT/OT.
• Ability to write specifications based on customer requirements.
• Experience working with CPG customers is mandatory.
• Industry experience in domains such as R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Packaging, Distribution Sustainability, etc.
• Independently scoped and solutioned large deals of $ 5 Mn+ in engineering, manufacturing services and solution sales.
• Track record of consultative, trusted relationships with strong client references over 5+ years.
• Ability to build client relationships and maintain a strong client network in the CPG domain.
• Experience in developing sales plans for a customer portfolio and individual Account Plans.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering
Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 a year
