Job description

Overview
Corporate Tools in Post Falls, Idaho is adding a Human Resources Coordinator to our team. You will join a team of HR Generalists that are actively involved in making Corporate Tools an amazing place to work, and you will play a pivotal role in making sure we can continue to achieve these goals. The work we do creates organizational structure to allow employees the freedom to achieve their highest potential in an environment where they are valued, respected, and challenged to do amazing stuff every day.
We're not looking for just any HR Coordinator, more of an HR rebel. For you, common sense rules over unnecessary processes and policies. We do what makes sense, while being legally compliant, but not getting tangled up in the corporate HR mumbo jumbo. What exactly is HR mumbo jumbo? How about those 500 page employee manuals that outline every single rule for every single possible situation that could occur. Yeah, that's not us. HR rebels... read on.
This is considered a hybrid position meaning that you'll need to live within commuting distance to the Post Falls, Idaho area and work on-site at our Post Falls, Idaho office 5 days a week through a 60 day-ish training period, and then 3-5 days a week in office moving forward.
Wage
$26 / hour
Benefits
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision for employees
  • Annual review with raise option
  • 22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays
    • After 3 years, PTO increases to 29 days. Employees transition to flexible time off after 5 years with the company-not accrued, not capped, take time off when you want
    • The 4 holidays are: New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Up to 6% company matching 401(k) with no vesting period
  • Quarterly allowance
    • Use to make your remote work set up more comfortable, for continuing education classes, a plant for your desk, coffee for your coworker, a massage for yourself... really, whatever
  • Open concept office with friendly coworkers
  • Creative environment where you can make a difference
  • No dumb benefits like free dog walking on the weekends that snobby hipster places have to make you feel cool, but mathematically won't cost the company much money because you won't use it
  • Trail Mix Bar - oh yeah
Responsibilities
  • Create a positive working environment by contributing to a fully functioning office setting through organization, communication, and time management
  • Maintain Human Resources standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Be apart of creating an exceptional new hire experience by being a point of contact before their first day, coordinating the completion of new hire paperwork, and assisting with new hire orientation as needed

  • Administer company surveys and collaborate with Human Resources Partners to identify trends and put together reporting for Leadership

  • Gather feedback on how to improve the employee experience by regularly conducting Exit and Stay Interviews
  • Provide support to recently offboarded employees by responding to unemployment documentation requests, and answering questions and providing resources as needed
  • Manage internal job postings, application tracking, and eligibility screening
  • Identify opportunities for improving Human Resources processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Analyzing information and ideas in a systematic and logical manner beyond accepting something at face value, and having the ability to consider alternative perspectives and solutions
  • Ability to be adaptable in communication style, approach to problem-solving, and overall working environment
  • Can effectively work independently but can also collaborate with a team when needed. Takes initiative to complete tasks and improve processes
  • Strong computer skills, ability to navigate systems to gather information, and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed
