Job description

Securitization / Structured Finance Associate Attorney (3+ Years) – Charlotte, NC, New York, NY & Washington, D.C.

Direct Counsel is seeking a Securitization / Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded law firm in its Charlotte, NC, New York, NY, or Washington, D.C. office.

About the Role:

The firm’s Capital Markets practice is looking for mid-level and senior associates with at least 3 years of substantial experience in:

  • Securitization and structured finance transactions
  • Structured products, corporate finance, and/or real estate finance

Additional experience in CLO, CMBS, Repo, and other ABL finance is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in securitization and structured finance
  • Strong law firm experience handling complex financial transactions
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York, North Carolina, or D.C. Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
Compensation:
  • Anticipated annual base salary range: $260,000 – $435,000
  • The actual salary will depend on factors such as qualifications, years of experience, and location
