Essential Duties:
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting
  • Work with Sales and Operations to update the rolling 12-month forecast, built from the customer level, and administer the SharePoint site used for consolidating field sales inputs.
  • Support the annual budgeting process by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and preparing budget models.
  • Estimate Flash results within two days of month end to provide an early view of financial performance versus forecast.
  • Assist Accounting with decision-making and analysis related to month-end and quarter-end close activities.

Financial Modeling & Performance Analysis
  • Analyze financial performance to explain variances from plan, prior periods, and forecast.
  • Perform break-even, margin, and cost-structure analyses with area management to improve financial visibility and operational outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain a formalized bid model template for evaluating proposals and conducting lookbacks to assess project performance.
  • Prepare and present capital requests aligned with long-term strategic objectives.

Business Partnership & Decision Support
  • Develop strong relationships with the Management team and act as the primary finance resource for operational, commercial, and strategic questions.
  • Distribute and review monthly analytical reports with Domestic Area Managers, proactively addressing risks, opportunities, and performance concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve returns through pricing adjustments, vendor management, and internal cost-control measures.
  • Analyze potential growth opportunities in North America, including geographic expansion and new product offerings.

Reporting, Insights & Operational Excellence
  • Develop standardized financial and operational reporting to improve visibility and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reports that track revenue, costs, margins, customer trends, DSO, DIR, and operational performance.
  • Analyze and distribute monthly DSO and DIR reports to area management teams with recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across ERP systems, planning tools, SharePoint, and reporting applications.

Requirements:
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience in related field, private quity experience preferred
  • LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • TRAVEL: 10%
  • OTHER:
