$235,000 – $365,000+

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing banks, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and lenders in sophisticated financing transactions.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of corporate finance, banking & finance, leveraged finance, or commercial lending experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, banks, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies

• Experience handling secured and unsecured credit facilities, acquisition financings, syndicated lending, asset-based lending, cash flow lending, and refinancing transactions

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, collateral documents, commitment letters, and other financing documents

• Experience managing sophisticated financing transactions from due diligence through closing

• Experience with private credit, fund finance, project finance, or cross-border financing transactions is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
