Job description

The Meta Corporate Development team supports Meta’s long‑term strategy by evaluating and executing strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and other transactions. We are hiring a Corporate Development Associate to work closely with deal leads, integration, and cross‑functional partners to assess opportunities, run key analyses, and support end‑to‑end deal execution. In this role, you will contribute across the transaction lifecycle—helping develop deal rationale, build and refine financial models, coordinate diligence workstreams, and prepare executive‑ready materials. You will join a small, high‑impact, productive team. This role requires you to be analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive—translating complex strategic and technical information into structured recommendations, learning quickly, and operating with high ownership under guidance from the Corporate Development team.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and understand Meta’s strategic objectives, as well as industry trends to identify, recommend and pursue companies/technologies that can meet those objectives.
  • Support transaction execution across M&A, minority investments, and strategic partnerships, including diligence coordination, workplan tracking, and preparation of materials.
  • Build and maintain financial analyses (operating, valuation, synergy models) to inform deal decisions.
  • Develop strategic and market perspectives by creating industry landscapes, competitive maps, and investment theses aligned to Meta’s strategic priorities.
  • Prepare executive‑ready materials (briefing documents, internal memos, presentations) that synthesize strategic rationale, risks, and key diligence findings.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional partners (Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Integration).
  • Monitor trends in relevant technology markets.
  • Summarize emerging themes, companies, and potential opportunities for the broader team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a mix of Investment Banking, Consulting, Venture Capital, Corporate Strategy, Private Equity, or Corporate Development, in the technology industry.
  • Experience supporting transaction processes (e.g., diligence support, valuation analysis, process coordination, internal materials preparation) for Mergers and Acquisitions, investments, or strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and working effectively across teams, including with executive stakeholders, to gather inputs and drive alignment on analyses and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including building and interpreting financial/valuation and other quantitative analyses (e.g., operating models, comparable companies/precedent transactions, valuation analysis).
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology, with the skills to engage product and engineering partners on product/technical roadmaps and translate into business implications.
Compensation and Benefits

$104,000/year to $153,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
