Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for making coffee / tea, cooking soups, setting up displays, condiment station setup, and front of house setup
  • Performs duties of cashier such as operation and cash flow, verify initial cash, and answer phone.
  • Makes beverages, keeps front of house stocked, frosts cakes, cuts bars / brownies, empties trash at end of shift or as required.
  • Assists with cleanup / sweeping / mops as required.
  • May substitute for Expo or bussing if trained.
Roles:
  • Provide excellent customer service by informing guests of any menu changes
  • Make recommendations as needed, answer guest questions about food (and potential food allergies), beverages and other restaurant services
  • Responsible for full cycle food service; take and deliver all food and Espresso beverage orders to the customers' tables in a timely manner
  • Ensure that guests are satisfied with their order and respond promptly to any requests
  • Perform specific side-work tasks and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
  • Knowledge of restaurant's food and beverage preparation standard.
