Job Title: Millwork Technician 
Position Overview: 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled craftsperson to join our Architectural Mill team as a Millwork Technician. This role involves working with a variety of woodworking tools and equipment to help produce high-quality custom millwork. The ideal candidate has experience with relevant tools, finishing techniques, and takes pride in their work. We are willing to train candidates who possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. 
Role Responsibilities: 
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment including (but not limited to) planers, jointers, table saws, miter saws, routers, drills, CNC equipment, sanders, and edgebanders to complete custom projects. 
  • Accurately template and fabricate laminate and Corian countertops. 
  • Efficiently and skillfully assemble custom cabinetry. 
  • Apply finishes evenly using sprayers (paint, stain, sealers) and perform touch-ups as needed to ensure a quality finished product. 
  • Accurately read and interpret shop drawings and plans to ensure quality in production and installation. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. 
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. 
Preferred Skills & Experience: 
  • 3–5 years of experience in custom millwork or cabinetry, woodworking or CNC operation 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Proven track record of skilled craftsmanship 
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings or blueprints 
  • Comfortable using a variety of equipment and machinery 
  • General understanding of cabinet and millwork design 
  • Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and processes 
  • Positive attitude, team player, and good communication skills 
  • Dependable and able to work independently or in a team environment 
  • Forklift operation
