Job description

Job Overview
We are searching for an apprentice or skilled Solid Surface Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating high-quality solid surface materials, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to meet precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and blueprint reading, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and technical expertise are valued.  We do not work with any quartz or natural stone surfaces. We are a solid surface, such as Corian, only shop.  There is no stone of any type.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of solid surface components.
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards and best practices.
  • Assist with related tasks as needed for project completion.

Experience

  • Construction experience or manufacturing background preferred.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
  • Experience operating machinery such as forklifts, and other power tools.
