Class A CDL – Local Yard Driver (Spotter)
Location: Sayre, PA (18840)
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Position Overview
We are hiring a Class A CDL Local Yard Driver (Spotter) for a dedicated operation based in Sayre, PA. This role involves short-distance shuttle runs and yard movements between plant locations, offering daily home time and a consistent weekday schedule.

Schedule & Work Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Home Time: Daily
- Weekend Requirement: 1 mandatory weekend day per month
- Operating Area: Within 50 miles (primarily within a 7-mile radius)
Job Responsibilities
- Shuttle materials (marble, granite, Corian countertops) between plant locations
- Operate between Sayre, PA and Waverly, NY facilities
- Perform yard movements and trailer spotting
- Inspect trailers before and after use
- Report any damage or issues to management
- Maintain safe and efficient operations
Equipment & Work Conditions
- Day cab trucks
- Box trailers (48’ & 53’)
- Local yard/plant operations (no long-haul driving)
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of driving experience
- Ability to perform trailer inspections and yard movements
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
