Superior Core Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Tyro, Virginia. As a full-time member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in helping patients overcome physical limitations and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. We specialize in providing treatment to patients primarily covered by private medical insurance, serving the community with a holistic approach to physical therapy. The successful applicant will work onsite in our well-appointed outpatient office, nestled in the scenic countryside of Tyro, Virginia. The practice features a spacious 5,000 square feet facility dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. Your colleagues will include two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all collaborating to deliver exceptional therapeutic outcomes. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to establish treatment goals and fine-tune care plans.
• Manage a caseload effectively, seeing one patient per hour to provide focused attention and quality care.
• Leverage your expertise in manual therapy and exercise protocols to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with patients to motivate and educate them on home exercise programs that complement their therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care services using the WebPT electronic medical record system.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to advance clinical skills and keep abreast of the latest in physical therapy practices.

Our patient base primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. As a therapist in our practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, tailoring your treatment methods to accommodate various age groups, activity levels, and pre-existing conditions. Your contributions will help patients regain mobility and strength, achieving their personal health goals through dedicated care and rehabilitation.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Virginia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• No history of disciplinary actions or adverse events related to licensure.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and a deep understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Proven ability to develop detailed and targeted exercise protocols based on clinical evaluation.
• Experience with WebPT or other electronic medical record systems is highly advantageous.

• A minimum of two years in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing hands-on experience with case management.
• Demonstrated skill in advanced manual therapy techniques will be considered a plus.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary collaboration for holistic patient care is desirable.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
