Superior Core Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our passionate team in Culpeper, Virginia. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in assisting patients to regain their physical strength, mobility, and overall quality of life through targeted therapies and individualized care.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite and involves working directly with patients in their homes, ensuring a comfortable and convenient rehabilitation process. The collaborative atmosphere within our team creates an encouraging environment where two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) work together seamlessly. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify each patient’s needs and set achievable goals for their rehabilitation process.
  • Administer hands-on therapy and treatment techniques tailored to individual patient requirements, focusing on maximizing motion and functionality.
  • Manage a consistent caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives comprehensive care and attention.
  • Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans and wellness programs that incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance recovery and reduce dependence on medication and surgical options whenever feasible.
  • Motivate patients to actively participate in their recovery process through personalized strategies aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and facilitate the best outcomes for patients.
  • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress meticulously in our EMR system, ensuring seamless communication and data accuracy.
  • Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and modify care plans based on patient feedback and progress assessments.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients and guide them towards sustainable wellness practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients who have private medical insurance and are dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and movement dysfunctions. Our team is committed to addressing each patient’s unique circumstances, ensuring tailored care and a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • A valid Virginia state license as a Physical Therapist, with a clean record free from board or disciplinary actions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in exercise protocol development.
  • Familiarity with WebPT electronic medical records (EMR) software is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, vital for building strong patient rapport and teamwork.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in physical therapy.
  • Work history showcasing successful patient outcomes and excellent client satisfaction ratings.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
