*This position can based out of Dallas/Fort Worth TX and Amarillo, TX.  Frequent travel will be required for this position.*

BASIC PURPOSE:  Responsible for traveling to Love's store locations throughout the assigned region and assessing, advising, and training store managers on propane usage, safety, and other income items/programs. This position will oversee other income programs for multiple Love's locations (multi-unit program management).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Observe and evaluate the store propane program.
  • Provide detailed reports and feedback regarding store programs.
  • Advise and train Love's store managers on the "other income" programs that we offer to customers at store locations (i.e. the propane refill program, lottery ticket program, customer storage solutions program, etc.).
  • Develop a budget and analyze the P&L reports.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and pricing.
  • Other duties are assigned as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Previous multi-unit retail experience or restaurant management experience. 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Must exhibit strong customer service focus skills; detail-oriented and highly self-motivated. 
  • Physical Demands:
    • May require relocation.
    • Must be willing to travel Monday-Thursday (overnight stays with some Friday travel required).
    • A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required (a company vehicle is provided).
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity is sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
