Job description

Our Marketing Department is seeking an experienced Marketing Content Coordinator responsible for creating and managing online content across digital platforms as well as in print.
Key essential functions of the job include ensuring content aligns with brand messaging, meets quality standards, and is delivered on time by collaborating with cross-functional teams, while also monitoring performance metrics and adjusting as needed; key duties include developing content calendars, editing and proofreading content, coordinating with content creators, and analyzing content effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Content planning and strategy: Develop and maintain a content calendar, brainstorm content ideas, and align content strategy with overall marketing goals.
  • Content creation and editing: Write, edit, proofread and create content for various digital platforms including copy writing, creating articles, curating videos, and managing imagery.
  • Collaboration with teams: Work closely with graphic designers, videographers, internal teams, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
  • Content distribution: Manage the publishing of content across relevant platforms and channels.
  • Quality control: Review content for consistency with brand guidelines, accuracy, naming conventions and adherence to SEO best practices.
  • Performance analysis: Track key content metrics like website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Content optimization: Analyze data to refine content strategy and optimize existing content for better engagement. 

Education / Experience / Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, digital communication, journalism, or a similar field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Photography experience is preferred.
  • Video editing experience preferred.
  • CMS experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the equine industry is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Strong copywriting & editing skills. 

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
