Job description

Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination located 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Three vibrant, pedestrian-friendly village areas host lodging, retail outlets, restaurants, bars, and family activities. During the winter months, Copper's world-class terrain offers skiing and riding for all ages and abilities. Each summer, the mountain transforms into a playground for hikers, mountain bikers, and anyone seeking a genuine Colorado experience. Copper Mountain Resort is also home to Woodward Copper action-sports camps, programs, and training facility.
Job Title: Holiday Help: Lift Line Crewmember
Job Status: Seasonal
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $17.50
  • Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:
Direct and engage our guests effectively through our mazes to provide a positive experience at our busy base area chair lifts and gondola, while upholding a high level of enthusiasm, guest service and pass security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lift Line Crewmembers (LLCs) are stationed in a maze to facilitate the efficient flow through the lift line for our guests. LLCs direct the flow of skier traffic by matching up singles and merge the Ski School and Premier Pass lanes to ensure maximum uphill chair capacity.
LLCs will work with the RFID gate attendants who are assisting guests through the gates and verifying guest credentials when passing through the gates.
LLCs assist guest with pass issues by escorting them to Guest Services for the best possible service recovery.
In addition to maze help, the LLCs may be stationed at the Tubing Hill when traffic direction is needed.
LLCs are responsible for a thorough knowledge of Copper and the ability to answer guest questions. They must be able to interact professionally with guests, and other departments throughout the resort, and promote a fun, vacation atmosphere.

  • This position is a seasonal position and may have fluctuations in hours worked based upon overall business volumes.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • This position may require the use of a mountain radio/walkie-talkies for communication
