Job description

Who We Are

Hammer Media is the digital media company behind Caleb Hammer and his YouTube channels, including the hit show Financial Audit.

In just three years, we've grown to 3.5+ million subscribers and over 4 billion views, making Financial Audit one of the fastest-growing personal finance shows on the internet. Our content breaks down real financial situations, helping millions of people better understand their money and make smarter financial decisions. We've built an entire ecosystem around financial literacy-combining engaging media, real financial stories, and practical tools that help people create lasting change in their financial lives.

As we continue to grow, Hammer Media is expanding into new shows and formats, reaching wider audiences and creating more ways to educate.

About the Role

Our membership platform serves tens of thousands of paying members across multiple tiers and runs a daily content engine of exclusive shows, bonus content, and community programming.

We're looking for a Show Producer to own the full creative and operational lifecycle of our membership content. This person sets the editorial vision, drives the production schedule, and makes sure every piece of content that hits our members is intentional, high-quality, and on time.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee end-to-end production of all membership-exclusive content - from concept to publish
  • Own pre-production planning by preparing production documents, show outlines, research, and shoot logistics
  • Produce on the studio floor during filming, keeping productions on schedule, coordinating talent and crew, and ensuring a seamless shoot from setup through wrap
  • QA every deliverable before it reaches members
  • Track member engagement data and use it to inform editorial decisions
  • Build and maintain production SOPs, runsheets, and team workflows
  • Review rough cuts and final edits to ensure each episode meets our editorial standards for quality, pacing, storytelling, and accuracy
  • Partner cross-functionally and coordinate with the broader Caleb Hammer Media team on integrations, promotions, and campaign timing

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience running production on a YouTube channel, podcast network, membership platform, or similar digital content operation
  • Proven track record managing a multi-show or multi-format slate - not just a single series
  • Strong editorial instincts: you know what hooks, what holds, and what bores
  • Highly organized with real project management experience - ClickUp, Asana, or equivalent
  • Comfortable owning a tight publishing schedule and keeping a team accountable to it
  • Clear communicator who can give direct, constructive feedback to talent and crew
  • Self-directed and high-output - this is not a role with a lot of hand-holding

Benefits

We are an in-office team in East Austin because we believe the best ideas happen when we're in the same room. Our culture is high-energy, collaborative, and focused on radical accountability.

  • Relocation Assistance: Not in Austin? No problem. We provide a relocation package to help the right candidate join us here
  • Awesome Office & Team: Work from our East Austin office with a stocked snack bar, catered lunches, and a team that actually likes spending time together
  • Unlimited PTO: We trust you to manage your time and your results
  • Health & Wealth: 100% coverage for employee health, dental, and vision, plus a 401(k) with a company match
  • Lunch & Events: Lunch stipend and quarterly team-building activities (we go big on our events)
  • Pet-friendly: There's a good chance you'll be greeted by a few wagging tails when you walk through the door
