Overview
Black Desert Resort is an ultra-premium destination resort located in Southern Utah, surrounded by dramatic lava rock and red rock landscapes. Latitude is a signature dining outlet offering elevated cuisine in a refined yet approachable setting, serving resort guests, members, and locals.
The Experienced Cook supports daily kitchen operations at Latitude by preparing, cooking, and plating menu items to established standards. This role is designed for cooks with intermediate to advanced experience who can execute service independently, maintain station ownership, and contribute to a high-performing culinary team in a fast-paced, ultra-premium resort environment. Placement as Cook II or Cook I will be based on experience, demonstrated skill, and leadership capability.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors, including experience and skill level.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
  • Independently manage assigned stations during service based on experience level.

  • Complete daily prep, station setup, and breakdown.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
