Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Cook and help provide nutritious, well-prepared meals that support patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you will work in a team-oriented kitchen environment where quality, safety, and consistency matter every day. Key responsibilities
  • Prepare quality foods according to diet menus.
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion food accurately based on census and production sheets.
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
  • Monitor, replenish, and record food usage.
  • Label, date, and store food safely.
  • Maintain proper food temperatures during prep and service.
  • Operate and maintain standard kitchen equipment and report faulty equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and regulatory food service requirements.
