Manager, Digital Experience & Optimization

Full Time Phoenix, AZ, US

Your Role:

As the Manager, Digital Experience & Optimization, you’ll be responsible for the strategy, optimization, and day-to-day management of CEA CAPA's digital ecosystem, including website experience, ecommerce journeys, content architecture, SEO/GEO/AEO, and conversion optimization.

You will serve as the product owner for CEA CAPA's digital experience, ensuring students, parents, partners, and internal stakeholders can efficiently discover, evaluate, and engage with programs and services. The role partners closely with Brand, Growth Marketing, Enrollment, and Product teams to deliver a high-performing digital experience that drives engagement, applications, and enrollment outcomes. This role is expected to help establish how the organization responsibly adopts AI in its digital practice to help accelerate research, testing, content workflows, and optimization.

What You’ll Do:

Website & Digital Experience

  • Manage day-to-day ownership of the CEA CAPA website ecosystem
  • Support migration and consolidation of multiple legacy websites into a unified platform
  • Define andmaintainsite architecture, navigation, taxonomy, and user journeys
  • Partner with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and functionality improvements
  • Manage website roadmap and backlog

Ecommerce & Conversion Optimization

  • Own digital application and ecommerce flows
  • Identifyfriction points and opportunities to improve conversion rates
  • Support experimentation and A/B testing initiatives
  • Develop and maintain UX/CX standards
  • Conduct usability reviews and customer journey analysis
  • Use behavioral and performance data to improve digital experiences
  • Ensure accessibility and user-centered design principles embeddedand ensures sites meet WCAG guidelines
  • Partner with Brand and Content Strategy teams on content architecture
  • Maintain content governance standards
  • Support site-wide content planning and optimization
  • Ensure consistency across digital properties

SEO / GEO / AEO

  • Own SEO strategy and execution
  • Develop GEO and AI-search optimization strategies
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, visibility, and discoverability
  • Partner with Growth Marketing on search performance initiatives

Metrics & Reporting

  • Monitor engagement, conversion, and ecommerce performance
  • Deliver actionable recommendations based on analytics

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000

What Makes a Great Candidate:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing , Digital Media, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in web management, digital experience, ecommerce, digital product management, or similar

Web & Digital Expertise

  • Experience managing complex website ecosystems, including content strategy, UX, and conversion optimization
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar
  • Strong understanding of UX/CX principles and customer journey design
  • Experience developing and executing SEO strategies, including familiarity with GEO and AEO best practices
  • Strong knowledge of content architecture, site taxonomy, navigation design, and digital governance

Analytics & Execution

  • Experience using web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and translate businessobjectivesinto effective digital solutions
