Controls Test Engineer | Mayfield Heights, Ohio, United States Job Summary: Controls Test Engineer (Hardware) - Mayfield Heights, OH About the Role Join a leading automation technology company as a Controls Test Engineer, focusing on testing and validating the latest industrial network hardware. As part of a high-performing team in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will leverage your expertise in hardware testing and industrial control systems to drive product excellence and ensure robust, secure, and innovative automation solutions. This is a contract position offering exposure to advanced manufacturing environments and collaboration with industry experts. Responsibilities - Execute functional and custom test plans on managed Cisco switches and industrial network hardware. - Collaborate closely with hardware, network, and software engineers to define and refine test requirements. - Analyze new features and releases, applying rigorous troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues. - Upgrade infrastructure and enhance testing procedures for optimized performance. - Automate result analysis using programming and scripting skills. - Support advanced manufacturing software, automation control systems, and drive systems. - Develop comprehensive documentation, including validation plans, SOPs, technical reports, and traceability matrices.
