ISG – EPlan Controls Hardware Engineer Opportunities near Sterling Heights, MI!

A multinational company with their customer near Sterling Heights, Michigan is currently seeking an EPlan Controls Hardware Engineer for long-term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Controls Engineers with solid EPlan experience looking for a position that offers minimal travel, excellent management, career growth, development, and competitive rates.

EPlan Controls Hardware Engineers will be working full-time day shift, and rates are anticipated to be between $40-$60/hour (with 1.5 overtime over 40 hours) based on each candidate's experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits - including great medical, dental, vision, vacation, and more.

Qualified EPlan Controls Hardware Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related degree.
  • 3+ years of recent/relevant controls hardware engineering and design experience with CNC machinery, powertrain assembly, fluid fill or closely related.
  • Proficiency with electrical hardware design using Eplan is required.
  • Solid knowledge of hardware calculations, such as panel loading, wire sizing, etc.
  • Experience with pneumatics or hydraulic design is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Travel is anticipated to be a maximum of about 10% overnight for customer meetings and site visits. Trips will be primarily 2-5 days.
  • Must be able to work in the United Stated (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
  • Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
