Opportunity Overview & Responsibilities
Our client has an immediate contract to hire need for a Controls Engineer. This position will manage the engineering team to ensure customer satisfaction and project completion within the time frame and budget.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Ensure system designs comply with customer specifications, company or customer standards and industry regulations
  2. Prepare project estimates and customer proposal documents
  3. Participate and lead client presentations
  4. Communicate proficiently with clients and engineering team on critical project data, schedules, scope, cost, etc.
  5. Assist with field audits, commissioning and system installation as required
  6. Typical travel expectations ~25%
  7. Technical Project Leadership of Hardware and Software designs in the Papermaking and Converting Industry

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Paper Industry
  • Minimum 3 years of current programming experience
  • Organized and structured approach to executing tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Rockwell Software
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and delegate
