The Controller - Corporate supports the Chief Accounting Officer and senior finance leadership in overseeing the accounting operations of the organization. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across the full spectrum of accounting activities, including monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness.


โ€ข Financial Close and Reporting.
โ€ข Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
โ€ข Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
โ€ข Assist in preparing GAAP-complaint financial statements.
โ€ข Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to management.
โ€ข Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and sub-ledgers.

Accounting Operations

โ€ข Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and SOX/internal controls framework.
โ€ข Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
โ€ข Support integration of new systems, acquisitions or accounting changes.

Internal Controls & Compliance

โ€ข Maintain and enhance the internal control environment.
โ€ข Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Leadership & Collaboration

โ€ข Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
โ€ข Provide training and guidance to ensure high performance and accuracy.
โ€ข Partner with FP&A, operations, treasury, tax and other functional groups.
โ€ข Support to Chief Accounting Officer in strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Systems & Process Improvements

โ€ข Leverage ERP Systems to improve automation and data accuracy.
โ€ข Participate in system upgrades or implementations.
โ€ข Evaluate existing workflows and recommend efficiency enhancements.

โ€ข Other duties as assigned.


โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Finance

โ€ข 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
โ€ข CPA preferred
โ€ข Strong understanding of US GAAP.
โ€ข SAP ECC experience required.
โ€ข Experience with ERP systems (S4 Hana, SAP Business One, Dynamics, etc.).
โ€ข OneStream experience helpful.
โ€ข Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm) preferred.
โ€ข Experience in privately held companies preferred.
โ€ข Manufacturing and Service experience preferred.
โ€ข Strong Excel and financial modeling skills preferred.
โ€ข Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
โ€ข Strong communication and cross functional collaboration abilities.
