Blue Bayou Waterpark is hiring friendly and motivated individuals to join our Crew Member team for the summer season! We have a variety of exciting roles available in different departments, and we can't wait for you to shine in your position!

As a Slide Attendant, you could be working as a:

As a Shallow Water Lifeguard, you could be working as a: 

o Lifeguard on the lazy river, bottom of slides, and kids' areas

As a Special Facilities Lifeguard you could be working as a: 

o Lifeguard on the wave pool, lazy river, bottom of slides, and kids' areas

o Rider Dispatch at the top of the waterslides

o Ground Crew controlling access to our slide towers

o Park Clean Up of Tubes and Lifejackets

Pay Rates

  • Slide attendant $10.00/hr.
  • Shallow Water Lifeguard - $10.50/hr. (limited positions available)
  • Special Facilities Lifeguard - $11/hr. or more based on experience and
  • qualifications
  • Lifeguards 18+ - starting pay rate of $12
  • Plus, add an End-of-Season bonus of $1 per hour for each hour worked, if you stay on until the end of the season!
