Job description

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for a Document Controller to be an integral part of our Quality team. Epic takes pride in our quality of work and has a goal of building our workforce with the most talented employees.  You'll have an opportunity to work on a wide range of projects on a national and global scale. 

 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Weld log for data entry in Xenon and NDE selection
  • Perform technical review of shop drawings and reports to ensure compliance with JIS and procedures
  • Review material test reports (MTRs) for compliance with items and heat numbers listed on the bill of materials section of the spool drawings
  • Review filler metal material test reports for compliance with heat numbers recorded on the spool travelers
  • Scan, image, organize, file and maintain documents, adhering to Company's document lifecycle procedures
  • Combine documents into a final data package
  • Maintain and verify lots for welders/line class prior to releasing spools for shipment
  • Prepare final electronic data package file for customer
  • Prepare and record documents for shipment to archive facility

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Education:  High School Diploma or GED; preferred
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, Nitro; Preferred
