Location: Neenah, WISchedule: Full-time Work Type: On-site

Printron is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, managing accounting processes, and supporting the financial needs of the business.

The Controller supervises accounting staff and works closely with company leadership to ensure the integrity of financial information and the efficient operation of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for multiple business entities
  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements, including supporting analysis and reporting
  • Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing processes
  • Maintain accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management functions
  • Coordinate banking transactions, reconciliations, and cash reporting activities
  • Administer tax reporting requirements, including payroll taxes, sales and use taxes, personal property taxes, W-2s, 1099s, and required business filings
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Supervise accounting personnel and ensure work is completed accurately and timely
  • Coordinate annual insurance reviews, workers' compensation audits, and related reporting requirements
  • Work with external auditors, CPA firms, and other third-party financial service providers
  • Participate in accounting software and financial system improvement initiatives
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities
  • Coordinate financial support for audits and other business initiatives as required
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Five or more years of accounting or finance experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
  • Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end and year-end close processes
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or CMA certification
  • Manufacturing accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems
  • Experience supporting audits, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements
Compensation

This position is compensated within Printron's established pay structure. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
